The Salem Museum’s Pirate Tours

Fascinated by life at sea as a privateer, whaler, foretopman, or PIRATE?

Hear hair-raising stories of Salem’s shadowy past when pirates cruised the harbors, raided the coast, and frequented local taverns.

Capt. Snitch can spin tales that will make your cuttlefish want to cuddle. Learn about life in the fo’c’sle, rounding the Horn, trading shot with the British Navy, and sailing up the Pearl River to the riches of Canton.

As you walk the waterfront, sing along to the old sea shanties that rang out over three hundred years.

This is the only Museum sponsored tour in Salem and is perfect for the whole family. Places are limited, so register early!
